Capability to your ScanPro Microfilm Scanner
ScanPro AFC Automatic Microfiche Carrier
We’re moving microfiche research into the digital age with the newest innovation, the AUTO-Fiche™ Carrier. The AUTO-Fiche Carrier is operated entirely by on-screen controls, allowing users to move directly through the fiche image-by-image, anywhere on the fiche, with a single click. In addition, the AUTO-Fiche Carrier can automatically scan a range of images or the entire fiche.
New ScanPro Software is Released
We’re excited to announce the release of the latest software technology available for the award-winning ScanPro All-In-One microfilm scanners.
Added ability to scan fiche column by column
Documents can be scanned in the logical order they appear on your microfiche. Scan your fiche either row by row or column by column.
New hybrid Auto-Brightness option
The new hybrid AB option allows the AB function on only those documents that require it. This speeds up the scanning process when the Auto-Brightness function is needed for some of the images on a roll.
Added logic to compensate for crookedly loaded fiche
This feature helps to compensate for the straightness error after loading a microfiche to ensure that the document images are scanned in their entirety when rows and columns are not square to mechanism.
Previous released software version added AUTO-Scan Quality Assurance (QA). This revolutionary software enhances the current automatic scanning software to ensure no image is ever missed during conversion scanning.
What do you need to do?
If you have a ScanPro All-In-One, please be sure to update your software for FREE to reap the full benefits of your scanner. If you have a standard ScanPro model, you still need to update your software, and it’s FREE! And, if you want to upgrade, you can add the AUTO-Carrier and/or the ScanPro Advantage membership to enjoy more functionality. If you don’t have a ScanPro, contact us if you are located in Ohio or West Virginia to learn more about this amazing product line.
